2014-05-04: Urban Geocaching in Clearwater, Florida

Today's adventure was more of an urban setting. We set out to find some creative urban Geocaches over in Clearwater, FL. We found a total of 11 caches for the day. One of which was this virtual cache at this very strange HGTV featured house in Safety Harbor belonging to a local artist. We ended the day on the causeway watching a beautiful sunset.

2014-03-08: Wekiva River Aquatic Preserve

Today were Geocaching and hiked the lower portion of the Wekiva River Aquatic Preserve, located just west of Sanford, FL off Hwy 46. Even though we got a late start, it was a nice 4.5 mile walk in the preserve this morning to find 13 caches before running out of time. Will have to come back soon for the rest.

2014-03-01: Alderman Ford Park, Keysville, FL

What a great way to spend the day. Cool and sunny, Geocaching and hiking 7.5 miles within the Alderman's Ford Park near Plant City, FL. Spent some time creek side to enjoy the view and the sounds of the North Prong Alafia River. We managed to find 9 caches including finishing off one of the multi-caches. It was our first hike together and the first of many new adventures.
